Personalised Moissanite Jewellery for Everyday Wear
QUALITY & MATERIALS
Jewellery made for real life.
We look beyond how a piece appears on day one. Materials, settings, links, clasps and finish are considered with everyday wear in mind — because jewellery should still feel good long after the first impression.
No plating where it matters.
Unplated 316L means there is no decorative plating layer to wear through or fade away.If it doesn’t meet the standard, it shouldn’t reach you.
Materials matter. Construction does too.
Real people. Real moments. Real quality.
02 · MADE FOR REAL LIFE
Unplated 316L stainless steel is chosen for pieces designed to handle everyday wear — with no decorative plating layer to gradually wear through or fade.
Made for jewellery that doesn't need to be constantly taken off.
The finish comes from the steel itself.
Chosen with everyday comfort in mind.
Materials and construction selected for repeat wear.
The finish isn’t sitting on top.
It’s the material itself.03 · THE STONE
We select moissanite for the qualities that matter both in the light and in everyday wear — exceptional brilliance, distinctive fire and excellent resistance to scratching.
Highly resistant to scratching during everyday wear.
A measure of how strongly the stone bends light.
The optical property behind moissanite’s distinctive flashes of spectral colour.
More than sparkle. A stone chosen to perform beautifully in real life.
04 · TESTED FOR REAL LIFE
Quality should hold up beyond the box, the photograph and the first wear.
Our extended wear programme puts selected pieces through repeated everyday, high-contact environments so we can assess how the material, finish, links, settings and clasp behave over time — not simply how they look on day one.
Not saved for the box.
WHY WE TEST THIS WAY
Before ELLA EVA, Ella regularly wore sterling-silver jewellery from established brands.
Beautiful when new. But after around two months of everyday wear, she began noticing visible tarnishing and a finish that no longer looked the way it had on day one.
That wear was genuinely everyday: around 30 gym sessions, regular showers, work, cooking, washing-up and the repeated friction that comes from simply living in your jewellery.
No carefully controlled routine. No taking everything off whenever everyday life got messy.
This first-hand experience helped shape our testing philosophy. Wear can vary by piece, material, finish and how jewellery is used.
Six real-life environments. One rigorous ELLA EVA wear standard.
Sweat, movement & friction.
Water, warmth & wet/dry cycles.
All-day wear & clothing contact.
Heat, moisture & handling.
Water, friction & hand use.
Sleeves, bags & everyday contact.
The small details matter when you wear something every day.
CONSTRUCTION MATTERS
A beautiful stone means very little if the clasp, link or setting lets the piece down.
Our checks look beyond appearance. Closure, retention, movement and the surrounding construction are considered together so that the complete piece earns the ELLA EVA standard — not simply the material specification.
Positive opening and closing.
Designed to remain secure in wear.
Movement and connection points assessed.
Stone security checked as part of QC.
AFTER THE WEAR TEST
The test is only useful if the piece is assessed afterwards. We review the same areas that matter in everyday ownership, comparing condition and function against the starting point.
How the visible surface has changed through repeated wear.
Any visible change in the appearance of the piece.
Opening, closing and retention are checked again.
Connection points and movement are reviewed after wear.
Stone security and surrounding construction are inspected.
DOCUMENTED WEAR
The point isn’t simply to say a piece was tested. It’s to look closely at what changed — and what didn’t.
Finish, clasp, links, settings and surface condition documented before wear.
The same areas are reviewed again after the extended wear programme.
If it doesn’t meet the standard,
it shouldn’t reach you.
Material is part of the design.
05 · MATERIALS WITH A PURPOSE
Every material has strengths. Every piece has a purpose. We choose according to how the jewellery is designed, constructed and meant to be worn.
For pieces built around repeat wear.
We prioritise unplated 316L stainless steel for suitable high-contact pieces because there is no decorative plating layer to gradually wear through.
We choose according to how
the piece is meant to be worn.
06 · BEFORE IT REACHES YOU
Before a piece is packed, we carry out a final quality check across the details that matter in everyday wear.
The details matter. So we look closer.
Stone security, alignment and smooth setting edges checked.
NO PRONGS CATCHINGConnections and movement points reviewed for consistency.
Opening, closing and retention checked before packing.
Visible surfaces inspected for consistency and presentation.
The complete piece is reviewed as one before packing.
THE DETAILS WE LOOK CLOSER AT
Quality control is about more than whether something looks beautiful from a distance. We inspect the areas that affect how a piece feels, moves and performs in everyday wear.
Each stone is reviewed for consistent placement, presentation and security.
We check that exposed setting edges feel smooth and are not unnecessarily catching during normal handling.
Closure, retention and surrounding connection points are reviewed before the piece is packed.
If it doesn’t meet the standard, it shouldn’t reach you.
